The THANG:

COP

  • SSH X20 IC  (+5 more as Malibu joined in)
  • TTT X20 IC
  • LBAC X10 IC each direction (YHC will shake it out between rounds for the benefit of Donatello)
  • Merkins x10 IC
  • Hillbilly Walkers x10 IC
  • Imperial Walkers x10 IC (Baby just do the other walker)

Mosey around the field to get every one in place for the Ladder.  Those on the far side of the circle wished they knew that they only had to walk 10 yards to the starting point.

YHC desired to have the PAX work hard on their own, in pairs, and in groups of three.

SINGLE:  LADDER

  • 10 Merkins (first light pole)
  • 20 Big Boy Situps (second light pole)
  • 30 Squats (third light pole)
  • 40 Little Baby Crunches (fourth light pole)

PAX runs to the first light pole and performs the exercise then runs back to the start.  For each consecutive lap, one more pole is added.  Once up the ladder, the PAX must return.

PAIRS:  BEAR CRAWL DERBY

Merkin Trail of Tears with two lines. The path through the middle is the race way for each pair of racers.  PAX is able to see and encourage the racers.

GROUPS OF THREE:  3 AMIGOS

NOTE TO SELF: groups need to be same approximate height AND WEIGHT. Tatanka nearly flattened Doogie.

  • Air chair and hold for a slow 5 count
  • Air chair hold for 5 count, then raise right leg for 5 count
  • Air chair hold for 5 count, then raise left leg for 5 count
  • 5 reps of air chair squats

GROUPS OF THREE:  GRINDERS

PAX stayed in there same groups to run sprints.  Each member ran 40 yard sprint four times.

OH CRAP!

While on mosey to the Amphitheater Donatello heard a train coming.  Queue up the Train Burpees!  Unfortunately, the voices in Donatello’s head also make locomotive sounds. No train, no burpees.  This may have been an answer to a quiet prayer.

PAIRS:  WALL WORK IN AMPHITHEATER

  • 20 Dips:  Partner (1) in the plank position. Partner (2) performs dips with feet on the back of partner (1).  Upon completion the partners switch places
  • 20 Wall Jumps:  Partner (1) performs 20 wall jumps.  Partner (2) does as many merkins as possible until Partner (1) is finished.  Partners switch at completion.

SINGLE: SIX MINUTES OF MARY

YHC only had 5 minutes to do 6 minutes of abs.

  • Plank 1 minute:  30 seconds standard plank, 10 seconds right arm up, 10 seconds plank, 10 seconds left arm up.
  • Flutter kicks x30 IC – lead by Singlet
  • American Hammers x20 IC – lead by Jester
