The Thang

We have been doing quite a bit of work with the “levels” of the AO lately.  I thought we would continue that trend.

Level 1

-30 Merkins

-30 LBC’s

Level 2

-30 Squats

-30 Pickle Pounders (sound effects optional, but encouraged!)

Level 3

-30 Dips

-30 Dying Cockroaches

After Level 3, run the far lap around Founders Park.  Rinse/repeat AMRAP.

Sometime around 0600, we were greeted by our friendly neighborhood BURPEE TRAIN!

0614 – Kardashian indicated that it was 0614.  YHC said we had time for “one more round”, but quickly realized that we did not.  Commence Al Gore while waiting on the 6.

Count-O-Rama – 17 PAX in attendance.

Name-O-Rama

Welcome “Twilight” (Mark Rowe).  Successful EH by YHC from a small group leader meeting Sunday!  He says he sells drugs.  Maybe he could meet some Pharmacists in the group or something.  I think we have at least a few?

Announcement

Pray for coastal Texas.  Hurricane Harvey is hitting the Lone Star State pretty hard this week!

Kingsport is going strong, and it is encouraging to see the growth and development there!

EH an FNG.

F3 NETN has a Dragon Boat Team for the race at Warriors Path State Park on 9/9.  We still need a few rowers.  See Rudy if you’re interested in joining us!

FiA is going strong as well.  I believe they had 20ish post to Riveter Station yesterday!

Moleskin

We are in a season of new beginnings.  School is starting back, the seasons are changing, the Mercury is dropping, and life seems to be getting back into a rhythm.  With all the excitement of a new school year, I pray we do not get lost in the “noise” of life and forget what is truly important.  Whether we feel like we’re in a storm, or if life is cruising along, we all have roles and responsibilities that must not be neglected.  Career, family, small groups, and school are probably some that come to mind for some of us.  In all of these avenues of life, may we lead with strength and integrity!
