THE THANG
YHC admitted when he signed up for Q he saw that our brothers at IH were doing a 12 Days of Christmas themed Q. Not wanting AH to miss out on the festive cheer, YHC created a Q based off the Christmas song. PAX divided into two groups with each group on opposite sides of the football field. Coupons(blocks/sandbags) were present for this holiday Q.

12 Days…(just like the song, add a day each round and count down)

  • 1-50 yard run
  • 2 Broad jump burpees
  • 3 lateral hops over coupon(over and back =1)
  • 4 squat thrusts
  • 5 Alternating lunges(both legs=1)
  • 6 upright rows
  • 7 merkins (4:1 cadence)
  • 8 speed skater squats (8each leg)
  • 9 stiff leg deadlifts
  • 10 bent over rows(4:1 cadence)
  • 11 overhead press
  • 12 block burpees

MARY
No MARY present today. It was also noted that the mumble disappeared quickly this morning. YHC always takes this as a good sign.

MOLESKIN

YHC shared with PAX his personal reflections for the upcoming year. Often times we lose sight that God desires a relationship with each of us. He is not some distant deity but He is with us daily.

The Bible tells us in Galatians 2:20(NIV)
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Personally, I struggle or lose perspective of the fact that Christ died for me. This verse has always been a nice reminder of that.  This week one of our PAX shared their frustration with a situation in his life and how they struggle to hand it over to God. I too have difficulty with this as I’m sure we all do but the Bible tells us to cast all our cares(anxieties/burdens) on God because He cares for us.(1Peter 5:7). Reminding us again that God desires a relationship with us.
