WEATHER – a nice 34 degrees with the general opinion that it wasn’t too bad……… then the wind picked up and the opinion changed.

The Q brought a “deck of cards”. The thought was to see how lucky the PAX felt. Each suit was assigned an Exercise
- Hearts – Burpees
- Diamonds – Fairy Jacks
- Spades – Lt. Dan’s
- Clubs – 8 count Body Builders – Mumble Chatter about being similar to Burpees were voice but YHC thinks that only came from those wearing their pink panties and squashed it quickly.
The PAX would draw a card. If the PAX felt Lucky his card was going to be less than the Groups card they could keep it. IF they were correct they performed said exercise at face value and the group was stuck with the higher cards exercise drawn PLUS 10 to the face value.. IF the PAX was incorrect and the next card for the group was less than the PAX card he performed said exercise PLUS 10 and the group performed the other cards exercise at the face value. ****** The rules were slightly confusing AND the validity of the deck was questioned but YHC feels all the complaining about the quantity of Burpees and Body Builders made up for any confusion and limited the mumble chatter about it.
Highlights were the first round Escape Hatch got an ACE then the group got an ACE leaving the group at 21 body builders right out the gate.
About halfway thru Chunk had questioned the deck and Peterbilt lost to a 3 which made Chunk retract his complaint
Mudslide lost with a Queen to a Jack.
Estimated 40 Fairy Jacks, 30 Lt. Dan’s, 70 Burpees and 80 Body Builders Depending (on which end of the luck you were on).

It was mentioned to Swirly during the workout that the deck gets stack and rules change in life. I feel, as we were joking, it is a true statement at points of all our life’s. At the end of our post I let the PAX know, I did pull all but 3 or 4 of the cards below 8 in our “Deck of Cards” today. Not to be unfair but provide a higher quantity of reps and challenge the men today. Just because life is unfair or hard doesn’t mean you quit or not put the work in! Great Job this morning men of Iron Valley!
