THE THANG
YHC had visited Hickory, NC back in February and showed up one morning to find out what “a Run with Pain Stations” meant.   He mulled on it for 5 months before sharing with Wilderness Road.

Basically we turned right out of the parking lot and started running.  We ran for 2 minutes then did 1 minute of Mericans, Carolina Dry Docks, Mt. Climbers, Crunches, Flutter Kicks, Squats etc in 3 minute rotations.  We covered about 3.5 miles up and down a few hills.  Various members were given the lead on running at times and told to “push themselves hard”.  Simple plan, but really allowed no time for breaks.

3 sweaty men made it back to the trucks right on time and were glad it was over.

MOLESKIN
Cancer and the like are really hard on patients and families.  Wilbur shared that the PAX supported him this spring and it was helpful.  We have another member whose M is starting a treatment process and we need to be there for them.
