The telephone poles returned to the Wilderness Road today and hopefully to stay. Nice morning temps in 50’s, no wind or rain.

THE THANG
Split into two groups.
Group 1 shouldered 10′ sections of poles ( 2 men to a pole) and walked to end of parking lot and curled pole 10 times and returned. Group 2 Bear Crawled nearly 1/2 the distance and back. Groups switch places at the end. With an odd number of men, 1 PAX got the pleasure of being under the log two times in a row and that fun was shared.
Round two was the same with 10 overhead press of the log while the opposite group did crabwalks.
Round three incorporated 10 squats and crawl bears for opposite group.
Round 4 two groups of 3 each did 10 overhead press with pole and other exercises. Finished the pole dance with pole placed on the chest of three men while other held their feet and sit ups with the pole were enjoyed. (video on slack)

Wilbur shared how his cousins in Texas had gathered for the final days of their mother to feed, bathe, clean and whatever was needed till the end. When you love someone don’t hesitate to show the love and devotion to that person who showed that for you.
