25 PAX showed up in the gloomy, breezy 40° weather for YHC’s block beat down.
SSH x 20 IC
Don Quixotes x10? IC
LBACs x10 IC (Forwards & Backwards)
Frankensteins x10 IC
Block Merkins x 10 IC


-Block Lap:

*Perform a lap around the park carrying block.

-Block Drag Merkins:

*everyone lines up side by side with the block on the ground to your side.  Go down to plank position. Perform a Merkin, then drag the block across from one side to the other underneath your plank. Repeat exercise until every block has moved across the line. Repeat in the opposite direction.

– Block Lap

– Backwards Block Squat Pass:

*every PAX lines up single file. All blocks are at the front of the line. PAX will all squat together. The PAX in the front of line will raise block over head and pass to the PAX behind him. Every other squat, pass a block. This will continue until all blocks have been passed down the line. Turn and repeat exercise. 


-Big Boy Partner Block Pass x 50:

*Partner up, one block per pair. Perform BBSU and then pass the block. Repeat for 50 Big Boys.

-Block Lap

-American Hammer Block Pass:

*Line shoulder to shoulder. All blocks began on one side. Pass all blocks all the way down the line to the other side. Repeat in the other direction. Perform two rounds.

-Block Lap

-Block Carolina Dry Docks:

*Line all blocks up in line horizontally. Put feet on the blocks and everyone get in Dry Dock position. Perform 10 Dry Docks, then recover. Do 3 rounds.

Every exercise involved a partner or team. We, as humans, are not meant to do our life by ourselves. Whether it’s a family relationship, work relationship, or Friendship, we are better if not our best when we do things together. As it says in Ecclesiastes 4:12, “a cord of three strands is not easily broken.”

*3rd F event on 3rd Thursday will take place next Thursday…the fourth Thursday of the month. 🤷🏻‍♂️
