THE THANG
PAX have not participated in the Kilo 5k in a while.  QIC likes to pull this one back out occasionally to help PAX judge fitness improvements over time.  Split up into two groups of 4.  One group started at one end of the track with 5 exercises.  The other group went to the far end of the track with the other 5 exercises.  This way as work progressed and PAX got spread out there were people everywhere…so we were either all on the 6 or nobody was the 6!

  • Merkins (some PAX performed hand release) x 10
  • Flutter Kicks (3 count = 1) x 10
  • Jump Lunges (10/leg) x 10
  • Mountain Climbers (10/leg) x 10
  • Seal Jacks x 10
  • American Hammers (3 count = 1) x 10
  • SSH x 10
  • Burpees x 10
  • Jump Squats x 10
  • Plank Jacks x 10

QIC called time with ~ 10 mins left.  During the laps QIC was inspired by a PAX with something along the lines of “adapt, overcome, and take the hill.”  Not exactly that wording but close enough.  QIC decided we would take the hill from track up to the parking lot.  At the top we pumped out 10 Merkins, and returned to the bottom.  Finished with 3 ~100 meter sprints with Merkins or Squats at the end of each sprint.

MARY

MOLESKIN
QIC blew past the Disclaimer at the beginning so he recited it at the end.  Luckily any modifications that were needed during the workout took place so no one was injured.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Several prayers out today about for some affected by cancer, a job situation, and for healing in general with all of the sickness going around today.  We also bragged further on our very own Tenderfoot for leading these men in a boot camp.  Also, 1st Wednesday is next week.  Breakfast somewhere!
