Yello’s “Oh Yeah” kicked off the set with ample time for Through the Tunnel x 11 and Willie Mays Hays to the right/left x 2.
THE THANG
Indigenous “Copperhead Road” Run around the soccer track to the front of the gym found the ol’ medicine ball dropped a few times (Handsy isn’t so handsy) for a 5 burpee penalty each time.  Beanie went long the last two round to keep the ol’ medicine ball in play as we arrived at the front of they gym.

  • 867-5309 Stations: several songs worth of work found the Rangers putting in two stations of work with a sprint in between including a bathroom dash by Little Willy; Thriller in particular brought back some scary memories for some pax:
    • Station 1:  8 merkins, 6 V-ups, 7 Pickle Pounders
    • Station 2: 5 burpees, 30 LBCs, 9 squats
  • Pump Up the Jam:  Two rounds of partner wheelbarrow races around the Ranger Triangle worked the Ranger’s arms capped by some bearcrawls
  • We Didn’t Start the Fire: 500 cumulative BBSU’s as the mumblechatter kept the discussion of the song lyrics lively
  • Sunglasses at Night: Chicken Peckers x 10 and Shoulder Taps x 10 for two rounds on the wall of the barracks
  • Another One Bites the Dust: Continual side straddle hops with a drop down for a burpee every time “bites the dusts” plays for a strong on-time finish by the Rangers.

What makes a strong AO? The willingness to show up, support and push each other to go faster and work harder from the front to the back, wear crazy clothes, listen to loud music, and enjoy one another’s company before, during, and after the Q.  All three F’s in 45 minutes plus time before and after the Q.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Two big moves for Handsy and Dopee top the prayer list.  Several are participating in “Goliath at the Gorge”.  Get on the Q for September!
