Beautiful crips late summer morning with temps in the low-60’s. 18 PAX came out with coupons including one FNG, Cornrow for a Honeysuckle led climb up the mountain.

THE THANG
PAX were divided into 4 groups with each “team” assigned a leader. Each team had 2 blocks and 2 sandbags. Mosey to the playground where coupons were deposited adjacent to the brick school wall. The PAX lined up and passed the coupons down one at a time while holding a wall-sit position.
Now the fun, since the focus is on the team, each team was tasked with a collective number of reps of various exercises at stations around the AO. The team leaders were given a map and stations had to be completed in sequential order. All PAX had to be present at the station before the team could depart for the next station. From this point on, no coupons can hit the ground, otherwise a 20-burpee penalty is assessed for each person on the team. The stations were as follows in an approximate 1 mile loop with station 7 being back at the shovel flag:
Station 1: 100 burpees
Station 2: 200 merkins
Station 3: 300 block curls
Station 4: 400 Mountain Climbers
Station 5: 300 block curls
Station 6: 200 merkins
Station 7: 100 burpees
Overall the teams were evenly matched and stayed within visual of each other. T-claps to those that kept pushing through for their teammates. All teams completed stations 1-5 & 7. YHC over estimated the time so we’ll have to repeat one weekend when theirs enough time for all the stations.
