11 HIMs showed up in the gloom to push themselves and sharpen each other.  Sandbags were moved and dice were rolled…more about this a little later…

THE THANG
3 locations were used during this beatdown:

  1. Top of magnolia hill
  2. Spot between magnolia hill and hotel hill (which YHC referred to as “the valley”)
  3. Top of hotel hill

From hotel hill, we went back to “the valley” then back up magnolia hill, etc.

-Format: Mosey with sand bags to a location together, roll the dice, multiply the number by 8 (the date), then do two exercises for the designated number of reps decided by the dice roll, then mosey to the next location.

The sandbag exercises were (and please forgive YHQs lack of lexicon/exicon knowledge here):

Round 1-Front hold good mornings & alternating shoulder press

Round 2-Duck under lunges & high pulls

Round 3-Front squats &  alternating staggered merkins (one hand on sand bag)

Round 4-Back squats & curls

Round 5-Single leg dead lifts & overhead press

Round 6-Lunges & rows

-While in “the valley” a couple of extra credit exercises were also performed which included sand bag get-ups and plank pull throughs.
