The weather was a little chilly for being late May, but it was a good day for 6 Pax to put in some work. Some were still recovering from the Murph, while others (ahem, YHC) were just stiff and needed to stretch.

THE THANG
Today’s plan was to hit all the major body parts. Mosey to the base of the hill.

Legs

  • Dora lunge lap around the lower part of the hill

Chest and Back

  • 11s: Hand release merkins (on the sidewalk) and underdogs

Core

Near the flag, bear crawl between the points of a triangle, doing one exercise at each point. Rinse and repeat

  • 10 V-Ups
  • 20 Freddie Mercuries (2ct)
  • 10 Single leg Pickle pointers (ea)

MARY
Introducing the Wonton.

Squat down like a catcher, all the way to the ground leaving your feet flat on the ground. In cadence, we leaned forward and backwards while keeping our heels on the ground.  YHC was attempting to stretch the achilles, ankles, hips, etc.

Why Wonton?  We kind of looked like a Wonton in that position, or at least we thought that is what it might feel like if we lived in an Eastern country and made dumplings from scratch all day.

The verdict is still out on the Wonton – someone else try it and tell us what you think.
