T’was A Morning Before Christmas

On a a wet morning 9 PAX decided to venture out of bed for a Christmas adventure!

THE THANG

• Mosey to bottom of hill

T’was the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

• bear crawl up the hill like a mouse
• Run down

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there

• 20 coupon thrusters hanging stockings

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

• 20 flutter kicks in cadence laying in bed

While visions of sugerplumb danced in their heads;

• 10 Monkey humpers like sugerplumbs fairies

And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap, When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

• 5 burpees make a clatter

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

• 20 squat jumps out of bed

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

• Run up and around the median

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

• Lt dans up hill prancing like the reindeer
• Run down

I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick. And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

• 20 big boy situps for the big man

“Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen! Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!”

• Sprint to pull up bar do 8 pullups for the reindeer repeat 3 for the dash aways

So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, with the sleigh full of Toys, and St. Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof the prancing and pawing of each little hoof. Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

• Then sprint down

A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back, and he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

• 10 kettlebell swings like throwing presents

He had a broad face and a little round belly, that shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly.

• 30 LBCs for the jelly belly

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, and filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk, and laying his finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

• 10 overhead press filling the stockings

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all flew like the down of a thistle, but I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,

• 10 step ups each leg to the sleigh

“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-morning.”
