THE THANG
For those that would have been looking for the perfect 12 degree morning to post at an AO, boy howdie this was it! Following the warm up pax grabbed their coupon and matriculated from the general flag area to the swings. It was at this point a certain pax with one of those super thick Pittsburgonian accents mentioned that we were going to touch a testicle chain. Or, it was because YHC had a toboggan on his head blocking the ole ears and that certain pax actually said we were going to “touch a cold chain”. Either way we got to educate Woz on a few things. But I digress. Thang 1 consisted of 3 rounds of 10 underdogs and 20 H2H. After that time of joy. We made our way to the flagpole at the school. Thang 2 was chock full of a 4 round affair. Rounds 1/3 20 kettle bell swings, Everest to the top and run around the hill back to beginnings. Rounds 2/4 were bent over rows and the same Everest to top and run around back to the start. At this point Gutterball was wishing his post 1/2 marathon legs had a few more days to rest and Bobber was missing his little fellow fast finisher buddy Ghostrider. It was at this point the pax said they weren’t done and wanted Thang 3. So to the carline numbers we went. Lawnmowers and V-ups at each number. We didn’t quite finish, however i allowed the pax to leave their coupons at the car.
