Change of Scenery

Northeast Tennessee Arrowhead (Indian Trail) Johnson City

It was a pleasant morning for exercising, from a temperature standpoint.  Not so much from a physical standpoint, unless you’re Zima and you recovered more fully from Tuesday’s shenanigans. For the rest of us, this became a specially crafted, albeit impromptu, Q for the people…the achy people. 10 were present.

THE THANG
Time for a change of scenery. Mosey to baseball field behind home plate. (not the softball field). Using the bleachers, Dora style with one partner running to the fence by the track (near right field).

  • 100 incline merkins
  • 200 dips
  • 300 flutter kicks (2ct)

Notice we avoided legs, that’s for the people. We also noticed the gate was open. Mosey to the Arrowhead original flag spot (west side of the track). Run from the 50-yd line to the goal line. At each spot, do an increasing ladder, starting at 1, of:

  • Australian Snow Angels
  • Supermans

After Pax got to about 4 or 5, the city started locking the gates. Seeing we should wrap it up, we did one 100-yard sprint and headed back to the flag.
