Swamp is NOT a professional! He can’t even count while doing SSH, so modify accordingly.

Working out in 70-degree Fahrenheit and humid weather can be challenging for the body as the humidity can make it harder for sweat to evaporate and cool the body down.

Despite the extra effort required, training in the heat offers some potential benefits, according to ROAD iD, such as:
Improved cardiovascular fitness: The added stress of high temperatures and humidity forces the heart to work harder, leading to a stronger cardiovascular system and potentially a lower resting heart rate.
Enhanced mental fortitude: Pushing through uncomfortable conditions can boost resilience and mental toughness, preparing individuals for future challenges in their workouts and daily life.
Increased sweat and blood circulation: The body adapts to the heat by increasing sweat production and blood flow to the skin, which helps regulate body temperature and promote detoxification.
While there are benefits to be gained, it’s crucial to prioritize safety when exercising in hot and humid weather.

Some important safety considerations for the 12 participants in this scenario include:
Hydration: Staying well-hydrated is paramount. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after the workout to replenish lost fluids.
Pacing: Listen to your body and adjust the intensity and duration of the workout as needed. Don’t push yourself beyond your limits, and be prepared to take breaks or stop if you experience any signs of heat-related illness.
Clothing: Wear light-colored, loose-fitting, and moisture-wicking clothing to help facilitate sweat evaporation and cooling, notes the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Acclimatization: If not accustomed to exercising in these conditions, gradually increase exposure over several days to allow the body to adapt.
Remember, safety should always be the top priority when exercising in any weather conditions, especially in the heat and humidity.
