Episode 113: The One Where We Double Date with Dora and Flora ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒณ- Celebrating Spam’s First Q

On a morning where the weather graced us as much as the occasion itself, nine PAX gathered to honor the anniversary of Spam’s first Q with a double date featuring Dora and Flora, but with a twist. On July 10, 2021 SPAM took the lead for the first time, threading the past with the present in a workout that was nothing short of epic.ย  Only your truly and Spam were at the original Q, so I could have done whatever I wanted and no one would know the difference!

PRAYER
We thanked the Lord for holding off the rain and for the strength and camaraderie that bring us together week after week. ๐Ÿ™

Warm-Up:
Heating up, because I am a little older and need the extra warm up, we started with a dynamic duo to get our blood pumping:
– **15 Imperial Walkers** – Stepping into the past with rhythm.
– **10 Hillbilly Walkers** – A little hillbilly hustle to set the mood.

Moving onto the original warm-up crafted by Spam himself:
– **Motivator from 7** – Dropping down the counts and cranking up the energy!
– **Willie Mays Hayes (WMH)** – A deep stretch to greet the morning.
– **Through the Tunnel (TTT)** – Bending and reaching, prepping for what’s ahead.
– **Little Baby Arm Circles (LBAC)** – Forward and reverse, our shoulders getting the VIP treatment.
– **Slow Merkin** – Each one a slow press into the morning mist.

The Thang:
YHC led the PAX to the middle of the hill for a challenging combo:
– **Dora**: Partner up for 100 merkins, 200 curls, 300 squats while alternating with runs up to the last tree and back, testing our endurance and teamwork.
– **Flora (modified)**: 100 shoulder presses, 200 more curls, and 300 BBSUs (Big Boy Sit-Ups), with partners squat holding when not counting repsโ€”our muscles screamed but our spirits soared.

MARY:
No time for Mary today as our Dora and Flora combo left us spent and inspired.

CIRCLE OF TRUST
PRAYER
We circled up, breathing heavy but hearts light, thankful for the dry skies and the wet sweat, a testament to our effort and unity.

MOLESKIN:
Today was about stepping out of comfort zones, about doing the uncomfortable until it becomes a part of us. Whether it’s leading a Q or tackling a daunting challenge, growth happens at the edge of comfort. Keep pushing, keep growing.

With hands and hearts together, we closed out another memorable morning, a mix of nostalgia and new beginnings, all wrapped up with the promise of more to come.
