Bobber’s B-Day Q Beatdown

Northeast Tennessee Arrowhead (Indian Trail)

It was a cool 48 degrees when 10 PAX decided to join bobber for a little B-day Q fun. The weather was co-operative and the rain held off until after the Q was completed. The theme of the Q was all about the number 38 in honor of the YHC’s 38th trip around the sun.

THE THANG
The thang all had to do with the number 38. The thangs consisted of two exercises per workout. After each set of exercises the PAX would run/sprint to the last light pole and back and repeat the process. The total number of reps for workout was…..you guessed it 38!

    • 18 Pull-ups
    • 20 Block OHP
    • Run to the last light pole and back
    • REPEAT
  • Thang 2
    • 18 Dips
    • 20 block curls
    • run to the last light pole and back
    • REPEAT
  • Thang 3
    • 18 Goblet squats
    • 20 block pull throughs with a pushup in-between each pull through
    • run to the last light pole and back
    • REPEAT
  • Thang 4- Since I am a  Q for the people and avoidance of getting wet by laying on wet asphalt we mossed to the pain cave area for some Ab-tastic exercises
    • 18 V-Ups
    • 20 Flutter-Kicks IC
    • Since we didn’t run in-between each set the YHC called straight leg holds (roughly 30 seconds)
    • REPEAT

MARY
As a birthday gift to the PAX bobber decided to end the Q with 38 burpees (one for the YHC to grow on) to do as a MARY.
