Under the crisp and windy 40 degree morning sky, eight dedicated PAX gathered at the flag to see what bobber had in store for a birthday Q. The whispers of burpees filled the air as the PAX began to warm-up. The anticipation of the of the well known bobber burpees were coming….at some point. The longer the workout went on and the sign of burpees grew slim, the AO was perplexed on the whereabouts of the burpees. The mumble-chatter ceased, when bobber proclaimed that burpees would finish off the workout…. 39 to be exact.

THE THANG
The objective of the thang was to perform a total of 39 reps of exercises, in each round. Throwing in some running in-between the sets of exercises.

- Run to the Stop sign and back

- Run to the swings and do 19 underdogs
- Run back to the flag to do 20 curls
- repeat
- Part 3
- 19 dips
- run to the last street light and back
- 20 goblet squats
- repeat
- Part 4
- We needed to throw in some ab exercises as well
- 19 American hammers IC
- 20 big boy sit-ups

To finish off the bobber birthday Q, starting with a new tradition last year, bobber decided to do 39 burpees to end on.

Can’t wait for the 40th Bday Q next year, when we get to do 40 burpees. Also, it was decided when you hit the 50 year age mark you have to subtract your age from 100. That is the number of burpees bobber can make the AO do.
