Northeast Tennessee Johnson City The Range (Science Hill)

The weather was a perfect 41 degrees for 11 PAX who came out to The Range to tackle the Hill by the skate park and put in some random work determined by a roll of the die.

THE THANG
PAX ran from the AO to the Skate Park in an Indian Run formation passing the loved/hated orange medicine ball.  For every drop of the ball, five burpees were performed by the PAX.  Over the course of the morning, the orange hit the ground several times (purposely some might say).  Reaching the Skate Park, YHC directed the run on up the Hill to the baseball concession stand and back down.  As anyone who runs that hill knows, it’s all good until you near the two trees on the left.  This Hill run was a dry run of the Water Break.

For the next 30 minutes or so, PAX took turns rolling the die and all performed the following several times each with the Water Break coming up twice to push the PAX back up the Hill.

  • 20 burpees
  • 30 mountain climbers
  • 15 jump lunges (the most often rolled)
  • 15 jump squats
  • 1 minute wall sit
  • 20 tricep dips
  • 30 bicycle crunches
  • 20 merkins

YHC called time and the PAX did an Indian Run back to the AO.  The medicine ball dropped once for five more burpees.

MARY
PAX called out exercises for three minutes until time was called.
