9 PAX (3 FNGs) put in hard work at The Swamp in Indy this morning. No gloom was sighted. YHC was invited by BrickYard to guest Q in my home state. After wavering for a bit, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and show the men of F3 Indianapolis how we do things in Northeast Tennessee.
Weather: 74 and mostly sunny

Mosey to basketball court
- Motivator from 10 – The F3 Indianapolis pax hadn’t experienced the motivator before today. When 10 became 9, the mumblechatter was extra strong. The choice to offer a guest Q was definitely questioned.

I’ve said multiple times before, and I’ll tell any man that’ll listen, that F3 changed my life, and changed it for the better. I’m pumped that F3 is changing lives in my home state of Indiana. When BrickYard offered the Q, I initially said no thanks. I didn’t know the AO, didn’t know the PAX, had multiple excuses. I could have left no thanks at no thanks, but kept EHing myself. I then offered to do part of it…sort of a compromise but still didn’t feel good about that. I then texted our nantan and my friend Donatello to see what he thought. He said simply, “Do it.” So I messaged BrickYard again to tell him I’d do it. I include this simply to point out that my nature is often to shy away from challenges and the unfamiliar. I don’t think I’m alone in feeling that way. Lots of guys struggle with this. Yet, growth occurs when we’re stretched/challenged. I was stretched and challenged today and am better for it. I intend to use this as a teachable moment in my life; I won’t refuse a guest Q again. Thanks to the men of F3 Indianapolis for what y’all are bringing to my home turf. Thanks to the men of Frankfort (my former residence) who were willing to give F3 Indianapolis a test drive today. Frankfort needs F3. Y’all have the tools to bring it. And thanks to my brother-in-law for letting the EH run its course. You’re better for it.
