9 men braved the naked visage of each man’s countenance in the full light of day and began their Saturday in my tender loving care.

Mosey with your block over to the pull-up bars. There, a series of exercises awaited that surprised and delighted the PAX.

Seven rounds of four exercises with an ascending ladder and plenty of running in-between.

PULL UPS x 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 (28)                 Then bear crawl to SQUATS

SQUATS x 10,20,30,40,50,60,70  (280)     Then backwards run to MERKINS

MERKINS 5,10,15,20,25,30,35 (140)         Then run to BLOCK PRESSES

BLOCK PRESSES 5,10,15,20,25,30,35 (140) Then run to PULLUPS

A few, select PAX completed the entire workout (I did not, but was told by many that I looked fabulous in my attempt). Congrats to those who completed this task – it was a tough one! Nearly all men averaged about 2.25 miles of movement.

Mosey with block back to the flag.

MOLESKIN
After a suitably corny dad-joke by Jar-Jar, I spoke briefly about our relationship with God, and how for most people our view of God is strongly influenced by the type of relationship we have with our Dads here on earth. Whether that’s a benevolent, absent, violent, judgemental, friendly, or aloof relationship strongly affects our view of God and his role in our lives. So I encouraged the PAX to look to scriptures and to discipline their children and their employees in the way that we desire to be disciplined by God – in a loving, understanding way that is free of judgement and scorn.
