Bear Bryant Crawl to 10 Yard Line

10 Yard Line – Alabama Butt Kickers – 7 – Tennessee’s longest winning streak

20 Yard Line – WW1 Sit Ups – 12 times General Robert Neyland beat Bama also 4 Natty’s  

30 Yard Line – Flutter Kick – 105 after today, the number of times UT and Bama have played

40 Yard Line – Superman – 16 in honor of TN all time great Peyton Manning #16 who is the only UT QB to beat Alabama 3 times in a row

50 Yard Line – Gorilla Humpers – 15 – the number of yards Bama should have been penalized after Cody blocks UT’s last second field goal and throws his helmet which would have resulted in another kick 15 yards closer and Lane Kiffen’s Vols would have beat Bama in 2009

40 Yard Line – Pickle Pounders – 35 Number of points TN scored against Bama in1982 in Bear Bryant’s last game against UT.  UT comes from behind and intercepts a pass in the end zone with 17 seconds left to seal the victory.  Johnny Majors (tip of the hat to Gutterball) is lifted on the UT players shoulders and reaches down to shake Bear Bryant’s hand after the victory snapping an 11 game losing streak.

30 Yard Line – Squats – 71 – in honor of the number of consecutive quarters UT did not allow a single point (Oct 29, 1938 to Jan 1, 1940

20 Yard Line – Heels to Heaven – 23 – The last time the UT vs Alabama rivalry was tied with a record of 23-23-6

10 Yard Line – Ski Abs – 5 Number of Overtimes in the 2003 battle that UT won 51-43

Goal Line – Tennessee Rocking Chair (otherwise known as Mountain Man Poopers) –  25 – Number of times Rocky Top will be played today in Neyland Stadium

On the way back, stop at the 20 yard line and have your partner throw an interception to you – in honor of the 8 interceptions UT had against Bama in the 1970 game – and you run it into the endzone and Give Him Six (merkins) then flip flop.  If you drop the pass, both of you do one burpee and run the ball into the end zone.
