Lincoln Park Sauna Soaker Smoker

3 showed up for a hilly pre-ruck with an additional 2 rolling in for the start of a sweltering sauna soaker smoker at Immortal Station! We met at Lincoln Park (where there wasn’t a breeze to be found) to scope out a potential location. And what better way to experience a new spot than with a few new exercises to throw in the mix like Little Mermaids, LBFCs (Little Baby Flutter Crunches), Rockette Dips and Ninnie Knockers. Plus we resurrected an Iron Horse favorite, the Raccoon Crawl and threw in one YHC invented: Overhead Wall Clap!!

Coffeeteria followed at DD where we solved all the world’s problems in less than an hour!

With yesterday’s storm still fresh on my mind, I shared on the importance of being prepared. Preparedness applies not only in our physical life but in our spiritual life too.

In 1 Peter 3:13-17, Peter writes about the importance of being prepared to give an answer for the hope that we have.

We never know when we might need to use the knowledge and experience we have, but being prepared affords us the peace in knowing that we’ll be ready when the time comes!!
