THE THANG
6 fellas ran and Indian run at the indian trail (see what I did there) from the playground to our old meeting spot. Then a mosey back to start the thang.
In Part I of the thang, we gathered at the foot of the lower hill (parking lot) for a DORA 1-2-3. That was 100 mercans, 200 LBCs, and 300 squats. #bisquick and I needed the help of the group to finish out our 300 squats.
Then a mosey back to the playground for Part II of the thang, a 45 sec/15 sec Tabata. In groups of 2, we performed 8 rounds of tabata, with the partners switching exercises every round. The 4 stations were:
– Burpees and Curls
– Battle Ropes and Squats w/ coupon
– Mountain Climbers and OH press
– SSH and Bent over rows
MARY
After all that, we still had 10 minutes of Mary. In a circle, each person chose an exercise and rep count and we worked until the closing bell rang. This included Freddy Mercury, LBCs, heel to heaven, dying cockroaches, flutter kicks, side plank hip dips, plank around the world, and a few others I’m probably forgetting.
