Northeast Tennessee Johnson City Arrowhead (Indian Trail)

Arrowhead AO: 11 Men braved the frigid conditions and railed against the indecency of daylight savings to put in some work.  A bracing 18 degrees, light wind, and starlit AO greeted them with the subtlety of a clenched fist to the face.

  • Through the Tunnel IC x 10
  • Chumbaburpee (SSH and Burpees to the Tub Thumping song) – estimated 80 SSH + 27 Burpees


RedBarchetta on the Rocks (aka RedBarchetta on a frozen field)

  • 100 yard dash, 100 SSH
  • 75 yard dash, 75 Mountain Climbers
  • 50 yard dash, 50 LBC
  • 25 yard dash, 25 Merkins
  • 10 yard dash, 10 Burpees

Indian run around the track x 6, with a bonus 7 lap OYO with a “runner’s cross” movement of a modified shoulder pretzel for good measure.  Got 2 miles in total this frosty morning.

Getting up and out in the cold is an amazing thing.  It’s something that is utterly miserable on your own, yet exhilarating and memory-making when it’s with your friends.  Thanks to all for letting me be a part of this.
