THE THANG

YHC started the Thang with a nice 2-line Indian Run.  This isn’t your mama’s Indian Run because it was laced with the Merkin (IC, of course).  By the time the PAX made it to the playground they were feeling the 50 Merkins.

The PAX evenly distributed themselves amongst 3 stations, located in close proximity.  A simple ladder starting with 1 rep each of pull-ups, squats, and burpees, with a 1-rep increase with each cycle.  The PAX were lively until the count got to about 4 reps.  The mumble chatter was non-existent.  On top of the small ladder we were climbing YHC set his timer for every 3 minutes which signaled a complete halt to the workout and Merkins (IC, of course).

After 8-9 steps up the ladder, time was getting short so the PAX moseyed back to the rally point with an occasional reformation around the 6, which also provided a good opportunity for Merkins (IC).

MARY

Launchpad chose door C which was an AMRAP of V-Ups (60 sec) followed by Mtn Climbers (60 sec).  Then Merkins (IC).  The PAX were sorely disappointed when the QIC called it at 99 Merkins, but wait, 60 sec of boat/canoe and just enough time for…..Merkins (IC)!

Total Merkin count = 105 I.C.

CIRCLE OF TRUST

Geisha asked for prayer as he was ministering to some Japanese students later in the day.
PRAYER
MOLESKIN

The 3rd F challenge for March is to spend more time on your personal relationship with God.  Challenge yourself to hone the relationship that will strengthen all others.  In Eph 6:10-20 Paul talks about the armor of God.  In v17 he speaks of the “sword of the Spirit, which is the Word.”  Don’t leave your weapon at home.  Use it, sharpen it, hone it, and carry it with you.  Put the Word in your mind and heart so it is there to draw on when you need strength.  v 18 reminds us to pray without ceasing.
