We had 3 PAX show up in the gloom for a 68 degree undefined bootcamp.
DISCLAIMER was delivered although it may have been more abbreviated than normal..
PRAYER was performed by each individual requesting not to be killed by the unknown..

Enough warming up stuff, let’s just get to it….
THE THANG
The Music Marathon featured 3 songs.
Firstly AC/DC’s Thunderstruck. Thunder-burpee = Continuous side straddle hops interrupted by a Burpee every time you hear the word “Thunderstruck”. Duration 4 Minutes 53 Seconds.
Secondly Bring Sally Up. Plank challenge version. Start in the high plank position. Whenever you hear the lyrics bring Sally up, move into a high plank position. Whenever you hear Bring Sally Down, move into a low plank position. Duration 3 Minutes 54 Seconds.
Thirdly Chumbawamba’s Tubthumping. Chumbaburpee = Continuous side straddle hops interrupted by a Burpee every time you hear the word “I Get Knocked Down”. Duration 3 Minutes 42 Seconds.

Part 2 of the workout:
Round 1:
Three stations with 1 PAX at each station. 1 sandbag as the lone coupon

  • Curls using coupon
  • Boxcutters
  • Bear crawl between the parking bay markers

The Bear crawl PAX was the pace setter and when he completed his set the PAX rotate stations.
Rinse and repeat so each PAX does each exercise 3 times

Round 2:
Three stations with 1 PAX at each station. 1 sandbag as the lone coupon

  • Overhead Presses using coupon
  • Flutter Kicks
  • Run between stations and side of parking lot

The PAX performing the run leg was the pace setter and when he completed his set the PAX rotate stations.
Rinse and repeat so each PAX does each exercise 3 times

Round 3:
Three stations with 1 PAX at each station. 1 sandbag, 1 standard size cinder block and 1 1/2 sized cinder block were the coupons

  • Squat, curl overhead press combo using sandbag as coupon (I could not find the “official” name for this exercise). Added a twist by standing on the full size cinder block and making the sandbag touch the ground between reps.
  • American Hammers with 1/2 sized cinder block
  • Run around the parking lot. Closer to the perimeter for those wanting to try and impress someone else or themselves..
