THE THANG
QIC had a team based Q lined up for at least 9 PAX so a slight pivot in the plan was in order. 4 Easter baskets and a cone were setup in the shape of a cross. Coupons were stationed at the cone (foot of the cross). 2 teams of 2 and the solo QIC setup at one of the 3 baskets which held a pile of fun moves. Simple routine. Pull out an Easter treat, perform the move and associated reps, mosey back to the center of the cross to deposit the treat, and then jog back to the starting cone. At the starting cone perform 5 curls and 5 presses. Jog back to the center of the cross for 5 burpees and then back to the respective bucket to draw another surprise. Rinse and repeat until all rounds are complete. Each Easter treat had 3 sets in the bucket – 10 reps, 15 reps, or 20 reps. 9 treats X 3 sets each = 27 rounds
Easter treats were:
- American Hammers
- Flutter Kicks
- BBSUs
- Squats
- Lunges
- SSHs
- Merkins
- Carolina Dry Docks
- Hand Release Merkins
Strong work for the PAX warmed everyone up quickly and we pushed until 7am sharp.
CIRCLE OF TRUST
PRAYER
MOLESKIN
The setup for this Q was very intentional. Each of us find ourselves struggling at times (today happen to be hand release merkins). When we walk through that struggle in fellowship with others, we have the relationships needed to push through. Someone to pick us up, hold us accountable, and “run the race” with. The struggle serves a purpose in God’s plan for our lives. We are able to deposit our struggles in Jesus on the cross, just as we dropped the moves in the center bucket (which by no mistake was at the center of the cross). We then find ourselves at the foot of the cross being able to see the struggles still to come but finding great hope and joy as we see the opportunity we have to deposit the struggles on the cross. The struggles are not taken from us, but we know who holds us as we endure then. My prayer is this is on our hearts this Easter weekend. Jesus paid it all so that we can overcome this life of struggle, darkness, and pain. Happy Easter to F3 NETN!
