History lesson for the day – The term “United Colonies” was used by the Second Continental Congress to refer to the Thirteen Colonies during the American Revolutionary War. On September 9, 1776, the Congress officially changed the name to “United States of America” to reflect their independence from British rule.  13 PAX including a FNG celebrated the name change.
