THE THANG

Since it’s January and we have an empty calendar, I’ve reached back into my archives to provide us with a Tabata blasted back from the backblasts of olden times. This one harkens back to January 2020, right before the world changed.

Tabata rules: Alternate each exercise for 20 seconds, resting 10 seconds in between and repeat for 8 cycles. Go as hard as you can for each 20 second set. Then, um, rest as hard as you can for the 10 seconds.

• Set 1: Burpees and Mountain climbers. • Set 2: Broad Jumps and High Knees. • Set 3: Plank Pulls and V-ups • Set 4: Squats and Hand Release Merkins • Set 5: Pull ups and Burpees • Set 6: Jump Squats and Chicken Peckers
