Ones and twos, we all feel the pain

Tuesday, July 3, 2018

‘Twas Tuesday. ‘Twas bright at Arrowhead, enough to see people’s faces. That won’t last much longer, so enjoy it while you can. This visage will only improve with age, so that should give you something to look forward to every week.

DISCLAIMER

COP

• LBAC x 20 IC forward • LBAC x 20 IC reverse • Chinooks x 0 IC, ever. Seriously. • Inchworms x 8 OYO • TTT x 10 IC • Plank, put one leg and one arm up on opposite sides, then switch. X 10 (or so)

Mosey to the pull-up bars for some THANGOSCITY.

THE THANG

We did two thangs. Split into two groups due to size.

Group one: Toes to bar ladder up to 10, alternating with pull-up ladder down from 10.

Group two: Line up at cones on parking lot. At each line, do 5 burpees, then bear crawl to the next line. If you finish early, do 100SSH and work your way back until time is called. If you made it to the end, you did 100 burpees and have my undying admiration.

SWITCH DA GROUPS. For some reason, I though that we went until 6:30, so group 1 had 5 minutes longer at the pull-up bars than group 2. My bad.

MARY

Rounded some things out with the classic elevator merkins. Glorious.

CIRCLE OF TRUST

PRAYER

MOLESKIN

A quick note on leadership and the Q. You are a leader when you pick up the Q not because you are going to lead men for the morning’s workout (although this is true). You are a leader because you are demonstrating your willingness to share the load, to be vulnerable, and to embrace the possibility of failure in the name of making yourself and others better.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

We had two FNGs – Rick Regen, (Dustpan, works at home care business for seniors, narrowly avoided being named Bedpan by Fielding even though he doesn’t provide medical care) and Tim Neal (Smithers, works at NFS and handles nuclear fuel barehanded on horseback). Welcome!
