Post-Vacay Interval Foray

8 pax put in some strong interval work Monday.  8 was delightfully more than YHC expected to post given that several of the regulars at The Hill were out of town establishing an AO on some Michigan campground.

Weather: 70ish, sultry, the kind of morning when you know the sweat from your workout shirt is going to soak your seatbelt, which is then going to soak your shirt on the way to work.

THE THANG

Standard Rite Aid interval workout slightly tweaked from an AO in Pinehurst, NC.  Instead of touring the SHHS campus, we stayed put on the track.

• 20 second mosey –> 20 second sprint x 3 – pick up the six after every sprint • 40 second mosey –> 40 second sprint x 3 • 60 second mosey –> 60 second sprint x 3 • 80 second mosey –> 80 second sprint x 4 (just for grins…crowd favorite) • 60 second mosey –> 60 second sprint x 3 • 40 second mosey –> 40 second sprint x 3 • 20 second mosey –> 20 second sprint x 4
