Merkins & Squats—What else do you need?

Another Tuesday and another record turnout—25 pax brave the cold temps. The Pax were particularly chatty this morning, but were dismayed to find out YHC had a smoker planned.

Conditions—COLD

No worries, I hear a train coming. Quick Disclaimer right before the train rolls by—burpees. Luckily for the Pax, it was a short one.

• LBAC (10 IC, each way)
• SSH (15 IC)
• Windmills (10 IC)
• Imperial Walker (10 IC)
• Squats (10 IC)
• Merkins (5 IC)

Mosey to the field

Merkin/Squat Ladder (cones 20 yards apart)

• 1st cone—10 merkins and back (10 squats)
• 2nd cone—15 merkins and back (15 squats)
• 3rd cone—20 merkins and back (20 squats)
• 4th cone—25 merkins and back (25 squats)
• 3rd cone—20 merkins and back (20 squats)
• 2nd cone—15 merkins and back (15 squats)
• 1st cone—10 merkins and back (10 squats)

Four Corners

• 20 squats run to next cone (80 yards)—20 merkins
• Bear crawl width of field—20 squats
• Run length of field—20 merkins
• Bear crawl width of the field—20 squats

Rinse and repeat, with lunges instead of bear crawls

Mosey to Tombstone Hill

Jacobs Ladder

• Up the hill—7 burpees and back down
• Up the hill—6 burpees and back down
• Up the hill—5 burpees and back down
• Up the hill—4 burpees and back down

Couldn’t finish the latter, running of time—mosey back to the amphitheater.

Great work by the Pax. We did a lot of merkins and squats—what else do you really need to stay in shape? Jester was being—well, Jester in the COP. While he scored on YHC with a joke about growing a pair, encouraged by the Blueberry Fairy—YHC had the last laugh. Don’t poke Donatello or you’ll get a bo staff in the a!$.
