It was a chillier than advertised 34 degrees and foggy this morning. 19 doods made it out to the Arrowhead AO to work dat cardio. Thanks to Queen for the inspirational title for this workout, first debuted back in October of 2017.
DISCLAIMER
There was no warmup. Yeah, I said it. We didn’t have one. We just got to work. 0 Chinooks were completed.
THE THANG
Separated the PAX into two groups. Group 2 ran to the bleachers on the opposite site of the track. Group 1 ran to the bleachers by the flag.
Take off running, and start the reps. At each set of bleachers (1/8 mile), stop and do a set of reps of the following exercises:
- Merkins
- Jump Squats
- Dips
- V-ups
- Peter Parkers / Sphinx Crunches (count 1 right leg only)
Start at 15 reps, then move to the next exercise. Once 1 round is completed of 15 reps each, move to 25, then 35, then 45 of each exercise.
T-claps to Beaker for finishing all the reps! That’s 2.5 miles and 120 of each exercise. Some other pax got close. I crapped out after the 45 pushups, but that was way better than I did when we tried this routine for the first time back in October.

What I’ve been working out lately is that God’s mercies are new every morning, regardless of how many days have passed and how many days you have left. Don’t let discouragement about where you have been or how old you are steal your joy and potential in this life.
