Honeysuckle’s Big Hill Request

When the AOQ requests some elevation, the only response from a good QIC is “how high?”. Honeysuckle made the request for a trip across the big hill on Roan so 19 PAX rolled into Arrowhead prepared for the journey. 12 degrees picked up the pace a bit to stay warm…which didn’t take long.

Slaughter starter – 20 burpees OYO

Mosey to the base of the hill just above Arrowhead.
THE THANG
3 cones were setup running from Car-Mol Dr to White Way Dr (roughly 1/2 mile). Starting at cone 1 perform 10 reps of each move, then add 5 reps at cone 2, and 5 more at cone 3. Coming back stop at cone 2 and perform 15 reps. When arriving back at cone 1, move on to the next round.

Round 1 – Merkins / Squats / LBCs

Round 2 – Carolina Dry Docks / Lunges (R+L=1) / American Hammers

Round 3 – Burpees

Most of the PAX finished all of round 2 and finished with a burpee chaser back at the flag after a mosey back from the hill. Strong work from all.

Footnote – Johnson City’s finest threw the spotlight on QIC and 9.5 as we knocked out the dry docks and lunges.

Officer: What’s up boys?

QIC: Not much, just working out.

Officer: Working out? (add very puzzled and skeptic look)

QIC: Yes sir. Perfect weather to do so. There’s about 15 other guys up the road doing the same.
