10 Pax came out to get faster, fitter, and healthier with some running. With the upcoming Murph, 5ks, half-marathons, and marathons some speed work was necessary.
- 2 Ponzi laps while hunting for Norm
- Dynamic Stretches with made-up names
- Pax then chose between speed work or base work.
Option 1: 8×400 at perceived 5k race pace with 400 jog/walk recovery. YHC provided paces based on Pax who completed the Music and Miles half.
Option 2: 400 hard on the track followed by a Sports lap recovery (Baseball hill -> Pool -> Track)
Multiple prs were set during the workout including 400m prs, mile prs, and 5k prs for some. Exciting growth considering that included the recovery parts as well.
Pax attempted the pigeon during the reordered closing.
CIRCLE OF TRUST
It is always good to wake the legs up with some speed work, but nothing simulates pushing and chasing other Pax. We can go fast alone but can go faster and farther together.
