It’s A Circus Out There

Northeast Tennessee

9 Pax arrived at the AO to a cloudy 58 degree morning. The cool temp distracted the Pax from the wet ground and the circus that was about to happen. Without any warning, the Q began with some SSH and then some crazy balancing acts on their blocks.

The Balancing Act for Warm-Up:

20XSSH

Q asked Pax to stand on their Blocks for the remainder of the workout and perform the exercises. If any of the Pax fell off their block during the exercise, the entire group had to do 5 burpees for every time someone fell off the block.

Exercises on the Blocks:

10 X IW

10 X HW

10 X LBAC F/R

10 X Seal Claps

10 X Slow Squats

THE THANG
It was a day for a fun-filled Bear-y-Go-Round! The Pax got in a large circle with their blocks. The Q notified that he would call out an exercise and the Pax would go in a clockwise circle to each of the blocks and perform the exercise. To get to the next block, the Pax Bear Crawled. After each of the “go-rounds,” the Pax would run one of the known common areas and do an ab exercise called out by the Q.

  • 10 X Side Hop Overs = 90 total (Pax were asked the 5 Core Values of F3 and if they got them all they didn’t have to run after this round)! They nailed it!!!!
  • 10 X Curls/Reverse Dips = 90 total (Run up Magnolia Hill and do 30- 3-count Flutterkicks)
  • 5 X Squat Thrusters = 45 total (Run up Hotel Hill and do 30 Reverse Crunches)
  • 7 X Goblet Squats = 63 total (Run to Corner Cup and do 50 LBCs)
  • 3 X Blockees = 27 (Plank for 80 seconds)

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Locks mentioned Goliath at the Gorge coming up in August. He said we could get some teams together and do the 10K. It was also noted by Honeysuckle that the 5K is for Girls (No offense to Summer Camp, since he was the winner of the 5K last year).
