HR Burpees the Whole Time

It was warm, but it rained the whole time. Three intrepid souls showed up and showed out.

COP

COP exercises included the following, mostly in cadence, with varying reps:

• Side Straddle Hops • Willie Mays Hayes • Hand-release (HR) merkins • HR burpees – you can call them HRpees if you want, but I don’t recommend it.

THE THANG

We added a little bit of running to a basement routine I’ve started doing from time to time. This also works well in a hotel room when you’re traveling (sans moseys of course).

• Routine 1:

• 40 HR burpees then mosey 2 laps around car drop off loop • 30 HR burpees – 2 laps • 20 HR burpees – 2 laps • 10 HR burpees – 2 laps – at this point you’ve completed 100 HR burpees

We finished that with time to spare so we got cracking on Routine 2.

• Routine 2:

• 20 HR burpees – 2 laps • 15 HR burpees – 2 laps • 10 HR burpees – 2 laps • 5 HR burpees – 2 laps – at this point you’ve completed another 50 HR burpees

Everyone got through with the set of 15 HR burpees when we ran out of time. With the burpees in the COP we completed a total of 140 HR burpees. It was miserable. I highly recommend it.
