THE THANG

We moseyed to the hallway where we got some work in according to the Fibonacci sequence. The Fibonacci sequence and its analogue the Golden Ratio occur commonly in nature and art. The sequence starts with two numbers like 1 and 2 and then the next number in the sequence is the sum of the two previous numbers (1 + 2 = 3 in this case). The numbers climb surprisingly quickly, which can make it an interesting sequence or organizing reps in a workout.

We did the following workout sardine-style (or, 12 days of Christmas style): 1st exercise then run to the first cone and back; 1st and 2nd exercises then run to the second cone and back; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd exercises then run to the third cone and back; and so on. This results in an increasing number of exercises, higher reps, and longer runs with each round. The Fibonacci rep counts and exercises are listed below.
