Moneypenny’s 2 Mile AO Tour Group

Northeast Tennessee Johnson City The Range (Science Hill)

13 pax arrived at the Range for a cooler 68 degree morning but the humidity offset the temperature once the work began.  A playlist of songs inspired by being on the move pushed pax from stop to stop.

THE THANG
Running from stop to stop (sprints and Indigenous Runs) kept the pax moving as we completed cumulative reps at each stop (calling out 20s and 10s most of the time).

  • Stop Two:  Skate Park (500 cumulative dips) RUN
  • Stop Three: Top of Baseball Hill (600 LBCs) Longest RUN
  • Stop Four: Corner of Liberty Bell Blvd (600 BBSUs)
  • Stop Five:  Bottom of Baby Shark Hill (400 SSH)
“Thunderstruck” hit the playlist!  33 burpees were thrown down!
Bear Crawl to top of hill, 5 burpees, and crawl bear back down
  • Stop Six: Freedom Hall (500 Shoulder Taps)
  • Indigenous Run back to home via Ranger Hill and finish out 2 miles on the soccer track

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Announcements were made to see Slack for info regarding a Back to School drive and the Goliath at the Gorge event.

Beanie, AOQ, reminded all the guys to plan Qs that were modifiable for those pax nursing injuries or who may not feel comfortable with some types of exercises.  Putting in work safely is the most important thing we can encourage as well as planning work-outs that are attainable for the maximum number of pax while also pushing ourselves during the workout.
