The founders of F3, Dredd and OBT, state that once an AO consistently has more than 18 PAX posting, it’s time to expand. As the gloom has gotten a little less gloomy in recent weeks, IronHorse has seen significant expansion in numbers. Numbers in the 20s and 30s are common, and that’s a good thing. Today marked the trial run of Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Hill. Centrally located between the current JC AOs and home to the Monday run group, The Hill is a top-notch F3 playground. Haven’t identified a pull-up bar yet, but YHC is convinced there’s one around. In addition to the slanted parking lot meeting space that’s conducive to incline and decline merkins depending on which way you want to face, YHC wanted to show the PAX three areas that could be used for Qs. Mission accomplished.

MOLESKIN
Tclaps to the PAX for being willing to test out a new AO. IronHorse will always be “home” for me. Using my TI-85 and my slide rule, I calculated that I’ve probably worked out at IronHorse around 400 times (3 x week x 146 weeks = 438 posts…minus some fartsacks, smartsacks, posts other places) since June 2016. To not post there seems odd. However, with growth comes opportunity to get out of the comfort zone. Let’s embrace it, and share F3 with other JC Sad Clowns. It’s a blessing to not be one any more.
